sbb mase tu dgr2 x payah baya yuran, then skolah best, pastu nnt semua org akan dpt pokok sendiri yg die kene tanam n jaga, pastu semua org akan dpt jam free. ala kecik2 kan dgr bende2 ni pn rase cam best gile dah. tapi permohonan aku kene rijek. lps anta borang nk masuk skola tu, lps 2-3 minggu tu dtg surat dr yayasan saad, tp untuk abg aku.. die nk offer abg aku jd anak angkat skola tu. aku pn x sure ape jadi lps tu tp aku kecewa gile aku x dpt masuk skola tu utk skola menengah.

2. mane2 skola asrama allgirls

tahla mase tu rase cam cool je. jiran aku pn ckp die cam ade org dalam klau nk try boleje. so aku pn adela mintak tnykan skali klu dpt kn. x dpt.

akhirnya, aku dpt masuk Kusess.

this was no KYS, or all girls boarding school. it is a boarding school non-the-less.

to tell you the truth , i've never actually get the saying

"hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri, lebih baik di negeri sendiri".

i mean like, how could u ever say hujan batu is better than hujan emas?

i used to take it very literally, yela macam. emas beb! emas! haha

i was like, oh maybe sebab emas tu berat then kalau hujan emas boleh mengakibatkan kecederaan yang melampau..? tapi in the end ada emas. hujan batu ada apa? ujung2 jadi air je.

so actually i used to think hujan emas di negeri orang , lebih baik dari hujan batu dinegeri sendiri. like duh pastilah. haha jahat gila aku ni :P

tp im glad to say that that was then. now i totally get the saying. sadly thou, i cant explain it to you. it is a feeling , that i can't describe. maybe in a simpler way i can say it is the sense of belonging.

thou i really like the phrase we belong to geelong. haha

n better still, i get/understood the saying through experience.

somehow i am kind of grateful i didnt really get the meaning (like the actual meaning of this peribahasa/simpulan bahasa) while i was still in school.

yesterday i watched the kite runner movie, it was quite disturbing , to me personally because the story basically touched on religious matter. not so much..well , actually there was quite a number of scenes dealing with religious matters. but mostly subtle with some scenes near the end , which greatly affects me... emotionally?

they are the scenes when a lady was punished for adultery , she was being thrown with rocks [kena rejam sampai mati] it was kind of disturbing really..

the other disturbing scene was the way they portrayed the talibans.. and the country afghanistan itself.. im not so sure about the accuracy of these matters since i have never been to afghanistan , nor have i ever encounter any news or readings about the talibans. surprisingly it has never occurred to me to read / study or get to know at least a little about the talibans.. are they really the bad people.. or are they just protecting what is supposed to be our [fellow muslims'] responsibilities.. i guess im ..just ignorant .. sadly, in the matters concerning my own religion.. must change!

about the punishment, erm ... i know Hudud Laws are outlined by Allah Almighty . however im not particularly familiar with the tertib or right method of performing the punishment according to Hudud Law. i read somewhere that the person should be buried up til the waist for men and up til the shoulders for women.. but im not really sure if that is correct or not because as ive mentioned before im not familiar with the method. i just know some of the types of punishments. ie for people engaged in adultery, the punishment is to be caned 100 times for unmarried couple, and stoning for married couple who perform adultery.. and cutting of ones hand who steals.

but of course there are conditions before punishments are executed. if u r unfamiliar with this, im not going to explain because it can easily be found on the net.

and ive also found out the scientific benefit of caning .

Badan akan lemah dan Sindrom Kurang Daya Tahan Penyakit akan menyerang. Pesakit jenis ini mempunyai kemungkinan untuk disembuhkan.

Tetapi dengan syarat :

Ia mesti didera dan badannya mesti mengalami kerosakan sel yang banyak bagi merangsang penghasilan sel-sel T4 yang baru serta menggalakkan sum-sum tulang mengeluarkan antibodi yang baru.

Cara yang terbaik adalah dengan cara menyebat di bahagian belakang tulang belakang manusia di kawasan antara bawah tengkuk dan di atas pinggang di bahagian belakang tubuh badan manusiadengan sebatan yang merangsang penghasilan semula antibodi T4 yang baru dan pesakit tersebut boleh sembuh daripada AIDS selepas antibodi sel-sel T4 Limfosit menjadi dua kali ganda jumlahnya daripada jumlah Virus Aids dalam tubuh badan manusia dan ia menjadi lebih dominan daripada Virus Aids sehingga ia dapat memusnahkan virus Aids dan terselamat daripada virus Aids.

Jika pesalah tersebut adalah mereka yang telah berkahwin, apabila dihinggapi virus Aids sel-sel T4 mereka telah lemah berbanding dengan sel-sel T4 mereka yang belum berkahwin. Kelemahan ini berpunca daripada sum-sum tulang yang kurang menghasilkan antibodi kerana fungsinya lebih banyak ditumpukan ke arah penghasilan benih-benih bagi menghasilkan sperma-sperma baru. Pesalah jenis ini tidak akan dapat diselamatkan daripada virus Aids dan rejam sehingga mati merupakan penyelesaian terbaik bagi mengelakkan jangkitan dan penyebaran penyakit di samping memberi pengajaran yang menyebabkan orang lain takut untuk melakukan kesalahan yang sama.

the other thing about taliban and all.. as ive also mentioned before im not well versed in the matter. thus i find it quite disturbing. i mean , like in the movie, the people of afghan ran to pakistan because they cant stand the talibans, and that the talibans killed the hazara clan in afghan..? i really dont get it. like why would u kill ur brother in Islam if u r fighting in the name of Allah? plus the hazara family that were killed [in the movie la] werent doing anything to harm anybody pun..im not saying they r on the good side, nor did i say they r bad, i just dont understand. maybe the movie portrayed them wrongly, maybe they portrayed them as what they really are. idk. i just dont get it.

hoh tiba2 teringat perang gaza. .mdm asiah penah cerita psl perang gaza ni. it was a sad n touching story. as we know, the Palestinians were fighting to protect the land, their land. and most importantly protecting al-Aqsa Mosque n al-Quds . the point that really got to me was when mdm asiah said that they are protecting al-Aqsa, which are OUR, all of us Muslims' responsibility. n yet here we r doing nothing about it. it was really sad i think i kinda teared a bit. May Allah always bless the brothers n sisters in Palestine, i think it was bcause weve been to syria n saw how the syrians [who r basically arabs] are really gentle and kind people, despite of how they might look like. May Allah bless people in Syria as well. and all the Muslims around the world.

how come when there's barbecue-ing "event" , usually the food will be cooked by the male?

ive seen it at home, in uia, here. how come females don't usually join in with the cooking activity? should have asked myself. hehe .but i have no idea why. maybe the males like the smoke. haha. im not a fan of the smoke. and its hot.having to fan off the smoke and the .. how do u say "bara" in english? .. yea that.. why the guys never complain when we take the food off the barbecue set while they are still cooking and have yet to taste any?

today was cold. again. after like a week of not so cold weather,today n yesterday was cold.

nothing much happened. u could say i m pretty much enjoying my study+living here. regardless the near empty pockets due to A CERTAIN ORGANIZATION failed to provide me with my pocket money. wahaha. having fun nonetheless. :) skrg parents kasik duit lg :) thnxxxx

last weekend my older brother came, so i went to melbourne [for the fourth time since i start living here], he got lost a bit hehe . he thought the station i was gonna stop at was the one on flinders st., while actually it is the one on spencer st. so he walked from flinder [flinder ke flinders?] st. all the way to spencer. i tought he was gonna take a tram but he didnt. he walked instead. oh n i think that was kinda cute n nice. hehe coz actually i am not that close with him so that effort is kinda touching gakla hehehe. coz at first i tought xpala , igo to flinders st n meet him there je la. but then he told me to stay there [at spencer st.] so i stayed

pastu we went on a tram n pegi lunch kat es teller. his treat of koz. n meet his friend there, call her dee . shes nice. a yr older than me. then dee bawak kitorg g max brenner. unfortunately she cant stay.. so x sempat die nk mkn skali. then mkn waffle n yello granita :) [brainfreeze again]

pastu went back to his hotel @ st kilda, lepak2 jap. kul 5 kua blk g dfo. bought a handbag :) then dfo pn tutup. igt bukak smpi kul 9 sbb weekend kn. rupenye smpi kul 6 je,..

pastu rode the 6.40 train back to geelong. on the train i sat beside one old couple. tp i cant guess their age coz they dont seem that old.. at first i tought they could be like 50-60 yrs old, tp bile borak2 they told me their oldest child is 54. n they had like 3 great grandchildren alredi.. so the pakcik ckp 'dont ask our age. ' pastu gelak3.. hahaha .pastu best lagi, the pakcik was an architect b4.. they r from holland originally n migrated to oz like 20 years ago. after holland he practiced in adelaide. but now he is a minister at some church. n his wife, can speak malay coz she stayed in indonesia until she's 17. pastu borak3 lg. the pakcik then said ' ur english is very good' n i dont know how to respond to that. hahaha so i just gelak n ckp thanx n all :P segan plak tetiba. haha.

pastu balik dgn suka hatinya, i talked with abg a lot that day n it was nice :) oh abg brought my totoro :)

the next day [ sunday]

was mandy's [my friend here] birthday. so went celebrating it at her house. it was a fun night. byk gamba, byk org, byk photographers, byk gelak [skye pny pasal wat lawak je] , byk main, byk makan.

main gta hero. makan. watch ppl play gta hero. amik gamba. borak2 . nyanyi2. tgk muvi. met some new faces like felicia n kheng soon . it was fun :) i had fun n balik terus tido :) thanxxxxxx for the partay~! :D bile nk g smorgy? :P

before, i always know what to do, who to turn to , if things dont really work out. now i am lost , i dont know who to turn to who will be there for me. a lot of people will say that they will. but in reality, they dont really give a damn about me. i have lost my comfort zone.where i can be anything and still be accepted. now i feel like there's always a standard that i have to keep up with. this was how it was before too, but then i have my getaway person with whom i can be anything with. who would still be there regardless what i said or do. now since that person is no longer here,i have lost my getaway and always always need to keep up with the standard. and it is tiring.

i cant just open up to anyone. i am an ego person yes i admit. i cant just open up because not everyone can accept me the way i really am. i m not that good. i hv my dark sides too. but i am too ego to show it out. but i cant do this anymore it is tiring. can you accept me with all my flaws? i am weak . i am not wise. i tried to be better. but i m slow.i cant keep up with that pace. please slow down and accept me the way i am.

now that i think of it.i think others might not have a problem accepting me the way i really am.
it is me who cant accept me if i turn out to be a loser.i cant accept me being weak. i cant accept my flaws. i cant accept me being a disgrace. i cant accept me the way i am. why ? i dont know it myself. why ? do i have some kind of split personality ke ape?why cant i accept the person i am? am i sick? to be this way.. am i not mentally well?

A psychologist is urging people to get off Facebook and other social networking sites, and get a life instead.

Dr Aric Sigman says the amount of time we spend with each other has slumped dramatically and in turn is damaging our health.

He says our devotion to such sites could alter the way genes work, upset immune responses, hormone levels, and the function of arteries, and influence mental performance.

Levels of hormones such as the "cuddle chemical" oxytocin, which promotes bonding, altered according to whether people were in close contact or not.

This could increase the risk of health problems as serious as cancer, strokes, heart disease, and dementia.

Dr Sigman spells out his warning in the latest issue of Biologist, the journal of the Institute of Biology, and maintains that social networking sites have played a significant role in people becoming more isolated.

He said: "Social networking is the internet's biggest growth area, particular among young children.

"A quarter of British children have a laptop or computer in their room by the age of five and they have their own social networking sites, like the BBC's myCBBC. It's causing huge changes."

Dr Sigman said 209 "socially regulated" genes have been identified, including ones involved in the immune system, cell proliferation and responses to stress.

Electronic media is also undermining the ability of children and young people to learn vital social skills and read body language, he said.

Dr Sigman continued: "One of the most pronounced changes in the daily habits of British citizens is a reduction in the number of minutes per day that they interact with another human being.

"In less than two decades, the number of people saying there is no one with whom they discuss important matters nearly tripled.

"Parents spend less time with their children than they did only a decade ago. Britain has the lowest proportion of children in all of Europe who eat with their parents at the table. The proportion of people who work at home alone continues to rise.

"I am worried about where this is all leading. It's not that I'm old fashioned in terms of new technology, but the purpose of any new technology should be to provide a tool that enhances our lives.

"Social networking sites should allow us to embellish our social lives, but what we find is very different. The tail is wagging the dog. These are not tools that enhance, they are tools that displace."

Research suggests the number of hours people spend interacting face-to-face has fallen dramatically since 1987 as electronic media use increases.

this week is supposedly my super bz week.

on monday i got to know that i need to do a survey/ study on virtual reality labs ALL OVER THE WORLD!!! at first i thought i only need to do the ones in Malaysia. then my supervisor said, from all over the world. i must do it in 1 week, and send it in to my supervisor a write up of 20 or more pages with pictures and stuffs.

i was like. how the jell am i going to do that? and in a week summore??
i thought she was going to take me all over the world for this. ahahaha. apakah.pastila tidak. then she said i can find out on these labs on the net.

that was a phew moment for me. ok so yg overseas i can take the infos on the net. yg malaysia pny?

yup i need to go there and see it first hand. but i still doubt that i can do it in one week. the VR labs in Malaysia xde byk pon, she said ade kat proton, maybe S.G.I, MDec.. lagi ape x igt. but i m gonna try those 3 first and Barco in Pj.Mdec and SGI in cyberjaya kot. Proton in Shah Alam and Barco in PJ.

first i heard it on the radio "we're the only network that gives 33cents/minute charge for calls" [or so , but neway thats what theyre talking bout]

n i was like..33cents/ minute?

oh i must hv heard wrongly. neway i almost laugh at that.

then i came across it again today. this time it was aired on tv. n so, no, theres nothing wrong with my hearing. i did hear they say 33 cents/ minute and it really is 33cents/ minute. this time i heard it loud and i saw it clearly on tv. 33 cents/ minute. n what makes the advert betteR? they announced that they are the only network giving this rate. [ i bet u , u r. u really are ]

so i went to their website and upon arrival i came across this: [oh well accidentally ive topped up my old number yesterday which makes me entitled to this prize. gotto make tons of calls on 13 and 14 dec!!( excited sarcastic tone)]

ok upon seeing this, i went on inside and read more about this network's charges [funny i was once with this network and i didnt know this simple fact myself. how ignorant of me huhu]
which is when i saw this :

oh so when i top up rm30 i am entitled to 33cents/min call charge.. (oh that was wat all those smss that i received after topping up all about. huhu) but wait let's read more ok. less than 1 yr with them get 6 points per 1 ringgit spent. n the longer u stay with them, the more u get la..ooo..

see this is why i change my number [and apparently my network provider] my old one is soo berkira of everything. they r rich alredi yet they berkira on so many things. b4 this i received an sms saying that we will only get our points when we top up at least rm30, so ppl like me who top up rm10 on every other week[which if u count will give profit them more than ppl who top up rm30 for 1 month]get no points. why cant u just give points to everybody?n now this.if u top up rm30 only u get 33cents/minute charge for calls.why the rm10-topup-ers cant get this advantage? hey discriminating the less 'berada' people izzit?? not right u know. then theres this other thing. since i topup just rm10,[to limit my usage but usually ended up toping up more than rm10 /week] i always use the SOS topup [when u finish ur credit then u can make a SOS topup and they will add rm2 to ur account and then when u topup they will minus rm 2 from the amount u topupla kan] b4, they provide this service for free. now if u wanna make sos topup u will be charged rm0.50 for the service. apakah? u can make it free b4, y now cannot anymore??

now i admit i am berkira. when u r a student n dont hv much money to be spent on phonecalls n sms's [yela need to spent on studies(printing duh..) n shopping n fud n shopping n wayang n fud n shopping n printing n petrol n some other thing] u tend to be as berkira as u can n so all calls i make is only to my actv6[have yet to reach the 10 ppl limit]

cehh.. but neway this is not my problem anymore since ive change my network alredi.

oh yea btw, ive checked and rm0.35/minute is the cheapest rate offered by celcom [this is for the basic prepaid plan, with no promotion whatsoever] n while u mobile offers 0.8cent/second, it is cheap if u r the kind of person who doesnt bergayut a lot because when u multiply , it became 48cents/minute which is higher than most if not all other prepaid plans. hehe so yeah
just my 2 cents while laughing at an advertisement.

maka aku skang kesuntukan duit. hehe. xdela suntuk sgt tp agak la.. hurm hurm dahla ptptn x masuk lg. bila tah nak masuk. pastu bile dh masuk nnt pn aku rs akukesuntukan jugakla. sbb aku dh plan mcm2 nak beli dgn duit tersebut. tapi sbb mcm x bole la nk beli semua kan, maka aku skang tgh berkira2 la yg mane nak dibeli.

1.nk upgred laptop.
laptop aku adela ram 1 gig dan harddrive 40 gig sahaja la. oh tapi aku ade externl had disk, yg juga adela 40 gig[x cukup]. maka aku nak apgred. laptop ben pn haddsk ade 120 gig ok???

2. aku nk beli henpon baru
ni la henpon idaman aku wat masa ni. agak lama la sbb enpon ni pn dh lame ade kat market, tp aku ske gak.tahla.

3. nk beli gita hero

[sob2] aritu wat fotoshop pn sgt susah. asyik2 disk scratch full. tu aku dh pn transfer kan folder my doc aku [semua ok.. klu korg bukak my doc aku adela empty] ke dlm external haddisk aku . pn still disk scratch lg. tekanan x... pastu render font je nak amik masa 5 minit. pastu kejap2 hang kejap2 hang. aih tekanan.pastu nk save plak 15 menet.
kesimpulan:aku perlu upgred laptop a.s.a.p b4 stat wat projek individually. oh pastu akunye speaker juge adela rosak tp aku bole idop lg la dgn laptop yg bisu. tp i really need the speed bebeh!

the other day, we were discussing on when to go watch the dark night [apparently we went that exact night after class. haha] bes dod.

back to the topic, we were talking n discussing when apan said the word saiko ayam.

actually she really did said saiko wayang, but everybody else except adhel heard it as saiko ayam. [actually everybody else was just me n mira haha]
but still saiko ayam is not that bad . macam nak ckp kat org , ko ni saiko ayam laa... haha bes gak kot

then the other other day, we were telling the lecturers our hotel chains n sites. then the word chikada comes up. i mean, chikada could sound pretty cute, but to me, naming a hotel by that name, it invites nothing but laughter.n mockery, perhaps.

since the reject thingy ive stopped playing my guitar. it has only been like 2-3 weeks and i ve before not touch my guitar for one month or so, during the exam periods la. but now i didnot touch it i dont know why. dont have the mood. or tah. [senanye theres a reason but i dont wanna tell ya ] heh

neways, its been 1 week really parting with my guitars n i miss em soooo much.

i seriously miss my guitars. i was @ my hostel n wishing i had brought along my guitar[i left it at home] . maybe afterwards i will bring my electric one. but it is kind of a fuss since i need to bring the amp as well. but i havent been paying much attention to my electric guitar since.. well since i bought it. so maybe this time i'll bring it for a change instead of my acoustic.

this is something to dig. there'll be a short film coming out this august. i think it'll be a nice one. watched all 3 trailers and i cant wait for it to come out now. u guys should check it too. if u r interested maybe we can start talking bout it ... or something.

i actually have been spending the last hour searching and re-re-re-playing the trailers of this short film while i was actually supposed to search for my design thesis topic and case study. haha. dayem. haha. ok i really need to stop saying that D word.
