hujan emas

to tell you the truth , i've never actually get the saying

"hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri, lebih baik di negeri sendiri".

i mean like, how could u ever say hujan batu is better than hujan emas?

i used to take it very literally, yela macam. emas beb! emas! haha

i was like, oh maybe sebab emas tu berat then kalau hujan emas boleh mengakibatkan kecederaan yang melampau..? tapi in the end ada emas. hujan batu ada apa? ujung2 jadi air je.

so actually i used to think hujan emas di negeri orang , lebih baik dari hujan batu dinegeri sendiri. like duh pastilah. haha jahat gila aku ni :P

tp im glad to say that that was then. now i totally get the saying. sadly thou, i cant explain it to you. it is a feeling , that i can't describe. maybe in a simpler way i can say it is the sense of belonging.

thou i really like the phrase we belong to geelong. haha

n better still, i get/understood the saying through experience.

somehow i am kind of grateful i didnt really get the meaning (like the actual meaning of this peribahasa/simpulan bahasa) while i was still in school.

or else i might not have this kind of appreciation / overwhelming feeling of finally getting the real meaning of the peribahasa.

being here, sometimes i hear people say things like , oh Malaysia tak de pon macam ni, Malaysia tak de pon macam tu, n stuffs.

but i think, yea Malaysia maybe x de ni n x de tu, but then again, Malaysia's not THAT bad.

i mean yes, we have our unresolved traffic problems, n some other things that i think would be better left unsaid. haha

but its not all these big things. its the little things that makes u appreciate your home.

that small bicycle route u took with your big brother to get home once when u were little

that wet market you go with your parents on weekend mornings

yesterday i watched the kite runner movie, it was quite disturbing , to me personally because the story basically touched on religious matter. not so much..well , actually there was quite a number of scenes dealing with religious matters. but mostly subtle with some scenes near the end , which greatly affects me... emotionally?

they are the scenes when a lady was punished for adultery , she was being thrown with rocks [kena rejam sampai mati] it was kind of disturbing really..

the other disturbing scene was the way they portrayed the talibans.. and the country afghanistan itself.. im not so sure about the accuracy of these matters since i have never been to afghanistan , nor have i ever encounter any news or readings about the talibans. surprisingly it has never occurred to me to read / study or get to know at least a little about the talibans.. are they really the bad people.. or are they just protecting what is supposed to be our [fellow muslims'] responsibilities.. i guess im ..just ignorant .. sadly, in the matters concerning my own religion.. must change!

about the punishment, erm ... i know Hudud Laws are outlined by Allah Almighty . however im not particularly familiar with the tertib or right method of performing the punishment according to Hudud Law. i read somewhere that the person should be buried up til the waist for men and up til the shoulders for women.. but im not really sure if that is correct or not because as ive mentioned before im not familiar with the method. i just know some of the types of punishments. ie for people engaged in adultery, the punishment is to be caned 100 times for unmarried couple, and stoning for married couple who perform adultery.. and cutting of ones hand who steals.

but of course there are conditions before punishments are executed. if u r unfamiliar with this, im not going to explain because it can easily be found on the net.

and ive also found out the scientific benefit of caning .

HIKMAH DISEBALIK PELAKSANAAN HUDUD INI DARI SUDUT SAINS

Di dalam badan manusia, terdapat satu sistem pertahanan badan yang dipanggil sistem Imuniti. Sel yang paling berperanan dalam menghasilkan sistem pertahanan badan ialah sel darah putih. Sama ada B Limfosit yang berperanan menghasilkan Imuniti pembaikan sel ”Cell-Mediated Immune System”. Bagi pesalah yang belum berkahwin, mereka mempunyai antibodi T4 Limfosit yang kuat dan masih bertenaga. Sekiranya seseorang pesalah itu sudah dihinggapi HIV selepas penzinaannya T4 Limfositnya akan diserang oleh HIV AIDS yang akan menyebabkan sel-sel T4 Limfositnya musnah sehingga menyebabkan sel-sel sum-sum tulangnya mati tidak dapat lagi menghasilkan sel-sel T4 yang baru dengan jumlah yang banyak kerana sebahagian daripada sel darah putih itu bertukar menjadi benih manusia. Badan akan lemah dan Sindrom Kurang Daya Tahan Penyakit akan menyerang. Pesakit jenis ini mempunyai kemungkinan untuk disembuhkan.

Tetapi dengan syarat :

Ia mesti didera dan badannya mesti mengalami kerosakan sel yang banyak bagi merangsang penghasilan sel-sel T4 yang baru serta menggalakkan sum-sum tulang mengeluarkan antibodi yang baru.

Cara yang terbaik adalah dengan cara menyebat di bahagian belakang tulang belakang manusia di kawasan antara bawah tengkuk dan di atas pinggang di bahagian belakang tubuh badan manusiadengan sebatan yang merangsang penghasilan semula antibodi T4 yang baru dan pesakit tersebut boleh sembuh daripada AIDS selepas antibodi sel-sel T4 Limfosit menjadi dua kali ganda jumlahnya daripada jumlah Virus Aids dalam tubuh badan manusia dan ia menjadi lebih dominan daripada Virus Aids sehingga ia dapat memusnahkan virus Aids dan terselamat daripada virus Aids.

Jika pesalah tersebut adalah mereka yang telah berkahwin, apabila dihinggapi virus Aids sel-sel T4 mereka telah lemah berbanding dengan sel-sel T4 mereka yang belum berkahwin. Kelemahan ini berpunca daripada sum-sum tulang yang kurang menghasilkan antibodi kerana fungsinya lebih banyak ditumpukan ke arah penghasilan benih-benih bagi menghasilkan sperma-sperma baru. Pesalah jenis ini tidak akan dapat diselamatkan daripada virus Aids dan rejam sehingga mati merupakan penyelesaian terbaik bagi mengelakkan jangkitan dan penyebaran penyakit di samping memberi pengajaran yang menyebabkan orang lain takut untuk melakukan kesalahan yang sama.

the other thing about taliban and all.. as ive also mentioned before im not well versed in the matter. thus i find it quite disturbing. i mean , like in the movie, the people of afghan ran to pakistan because they cant stand the talibans, and that the talibans killed the hazara clan in afghan..? i really dont get it. like why would u kill ur brother in Islam if u r fighting in the name of Allah? plus the hazara family that were killed [in the movie la] werent doing anything to harm anybody pun..im not saying they r on the good side, nor did i say they r bad, i just dont understand. maybe the movie portrayed them wrongly, maybe they portrayed them as what they really are. idk. i just dont get it.

hoh tiba2 teringat perang gaza. .mdm asiah penah cerita psl perang gaza ni. it was a sad n touching story. as we know, the Palestinians were fighting to protect the land, their land. and most importantly protecting al-Aqsa Mosque n al-Quds . the point that really got to me was when mdm asiah said that they are protecting al-Aqsa, which are OUR, all of us Muslims' responsibility. n yet here we r doing nothing about it. it was really sad i think i kinda teared a bit. May Allah always bless the brothers n sisters in Palestine, i think it was bcause weve been to syria n saw how the syrians [who r basically arabs] are really gentle and kind people, despite of how they might look like. May Allah bless people in Syria as well. and all the Muslims around the world.

as much as i want to update my blog, i dont usually have anything worthy to talk / write about.

how come when there's barbecue-ing "event" , usually the food will be cooked by the male?

ive seen it at home, in uia, here. how come females don't usually join in with the cooking activity? should have asked myself. hehe .but i have no idea why. maybe the males like the smoke. haha. im not a fan of the smoke. and its hot.having to fan off the smoke and the .. how do u say "bara" in english? .. yea that.. why the guys never complain when we take the food off the barbecue set while they are still cooking and have yet to taste any?

why imrann whyy?? eh mcm imran baca blog ni kan. haha

that is just one question playing in my mind now..

hmm what else. as much as i want to make this blog interesting, i still have no idea what to write. maybe i should just write like very random stuffs [not that i havent been doing that already]
